About the Role

We are searching for an experienced Partnership and Sales Lead to join the business team at Ulula. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Business Development and sales and marketing team to meet the company’s sales and marketing objectives and quarterly targets. Responsibilities will include helping to grow and manage Ulula’s sales pipeline, activate and manage partnerships, and help inform marketing efforts. 

The successful candidate will have at least five years experience building partnerships and driving sales in the international business community. Demonstrating global acumen, they will draw on their professional experience to successfully identify and cultivate new partnerships and activate existing relationships to accelerate and grow the team’s sales efforts. 

What you’ll do/ be responsible for

Sales – 50% 

  • Monitor the sales / business development teams’ Objectives and Key Results 
  • Act as the primary coordinator of all sales related activities
  • Drive lead generation activities and monitor success / lessons learned to improve outreach activities 
  • Manage the sales pipeline in HubSpot; ensure proper uptake and use of the CRM by the sales team
  • Manage the sales pipeline and collaborate with the CEO to produce quarterly sales report for the board
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for the company 
  • Represent and speak on behalf of Ulula’s solution, projects, and partnerships at conferences, webinars, and other public events

Partnerships – 30%

  • Drive and manage relationships with strategic partners and cultivate them into a productive sales channel
  • Successfully respond to and win proposals
  • Identify, pursue and drive key partnerships and contracts 

Marketing – 20%

  • Act as primary point person and support to Marketing and Sales coordinator 
  • Drive inbound lead generation marketing campaigns such as webinars, paid ads and content creation
  • Oversee and support product launches and partnership announcements

Your preferred profile:

  • Background and interest in social enterprises 
  • Experience and/or in corporate responsibility and sustainability, supply chain, consumer products manufacturing, labor migration and recruitment, and/or corporate partnerships
  • Willingness to develop a solid understanding of how worker voice complements traditional approaches to supply chain compliance, human rights due diligence, and risk mitigation
  • Proven track record identifying target leads and closing deals to meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Enjoy cultivating relationships, translating client challenges into business requirements and solutions, while also driving a larger strategic growth plan
  • Experience working in a cross-functional role and willingness to collaborate with team members 
  • Comfortable presenting to and negotiating contracts with senior-level executives
