The link between the brand behaviour and impacts on suppliers and workers has been further underscored by COVID-19. Through their purchasing decisions, brands and retailers have a critical role to play in supporting suppliers and workers to overcome the consequences of this crisis on their businesses and livelihoods.
At the end of 2020, Ulula and Better Buying Institute conducted supplier-level and direct worker-level surveys in the apparel supply chain in Vietnam.
